The workshop aimed to present the perspective of Historical-Cultural Psychology (HCP) through film analysis. The selected film was screened, followed by analyses by the LAPSIHC instructors based on their respective areas: education, community, and work.
Historical-Cultural Psychology originated in the Soviet Union through the studies of Lev Vigotsky, Alexei Leontiev, and Alexander Luria. These authors sought to develop a "General Psychology" capable of grounding the psychologist's work in different contexts.
